How To Delete Amazon Account - 7 Tips

Are you looking to delete your Amazon account? Whether you are leaving the platform for good or just taking a break, it is important to know how to properly delete your account. Here are the steps you should follow to delete your Amazon account.

Step 1: Download Data

Before you delete your account, you should download any data associated with it. This includes your order history, account settings, and payment information.

To do this, go to “Account Settings” and click on “Download Your Data”. Select the data you want to download and click “Request Download”. Amazon will email you a link to download the data.

Step 2: Contact Amazon

Once you have downloaded your data, you need to contact Amazon directly. You can do this by phone, email, or live chat. Explain to them that you want to delete your account and provide them with your account details.

Step 3: Confirm Deletion

Once Amazon has received your request, they will send you an email to confirm that your account has been deleted. This email will contain instructions on how to reactivate your account if you change your mind.

Step 4: Clean Up

Once your account is deleted, you should go through any other accounts you have linked to Amazon and remove them. This includes any social media accounts, banking accounts, and other services.

By following these steps, you can easily delete your Amazon account. Be sure to download your data before deleting your account to ensure that you don’t lose any important information.
